In the spirit of giving back to the community Local 3985 has embarked on a mission to help feed the hungry in the Algonquin Lake in the Hills area. In cooperation with the Interfaith Food Pantry, located in Lake in the Hills, members of Local 3985 will be in the community each month colecting food whic will then be given to the Interfaith Food Pantry.

Thanks to all who participated, the food drive on January 15, 2010 was an overwhelming success. With all of your efforts, black shift was able to raise over 1,100 pounds of food for the food pantry. On May 28. Local 3985 raised 1,700 additional pounds of food for the pantyr. Look for our upcoming dates which will be posted soon!
